A number of children are standing in a circle. They are evenly spaced and the 6th child is directly opposite the 16th child. How many are there altogether?

ANSWER:

Counting from one child to a child directly across from her completes half of a circle. Therefore half of the circle contains 10 children (16 - 6), which means the entire circle contains 20 children (10 x 2).
